wow, those are so cool! I guess you cut off the excess fabric at the bottom. It looks so easy!
WOW!!!! What a great idea, I will be giving this a go. cheers Marie
Very cool, Lisa! Thanks for sharing :D Happy Easter, Momma!
Anyone try it? We made them yesterday and they are beautiful! Unfolding each little packet as the anticipation rose...to find a treasure inside. This weekend, my goal is to load the snapshots from the camera onto the computer and share pictures here.
Okay, these are simply amazing. I can't wait to try this! Thanks so much for link.
hey lisa, so glad you tried it. pls let me know when you post the pics, i'd love to see them! laura
Hi Laura, will do! I tried posting them here and the picture came out huge ~ took up the whole space! I'm trying to figure out this blog thing. And find time for it. Well find the time to figure it out!
hey lisa! these are beautiful! congrats, so glad you tried it! it could have been that they didn't cool but it could also have been that the silk wasn't tight enough around the egg. we broke quite a few trying to get the fabric as flat against the egg as possible. that's the only thing i can think of?? they look really cool that way though so a huge success regardless :) :
hi lisa! are you making these easter eggs again this year? we made a big batch yesterday and they came out pretty good :) we were very excited! check 'em out: http://cucinatestarossa.blogs.com/weblog/2011/04/3rd-annual-most-beautiful-easter-eggs-ever.html
